We are currently hiring part-time Housekeepers to join the team at Marlborough Hospital, located at 157 Union Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. This role offers an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining clean and orderly environments within the hospital. No prior housekeeping experience is necessary, as we provide thorough training to enable new employees to perform their duties effectively. The position includes day and evening shifts with variable hours and days, which will be discussed in detail during the interview process. The hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.

The Housekeeper’s primary responsibility is to perform light cleaning duties such as sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming carpets and draperies, dusting and polishing furniture, cleaning metal fixtures, and maintaining trash containers in a sanitary manner. Making beds, changing linens, cleaning wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and glass surfaces are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, housekeepers respond promptly to guest queries, handle housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glass, and help maintain prescribed furniture layouts. All tasks are performed with a focus on quality customer service and meticulous attention to detail. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment that promotes patient recovery and comfort.
