The role of a Housekeeper at HCSG is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of long-term care facilities, ensuring a healthy environment that supports recovery and well-being. This position involves performing daily housekeeping duties that include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines. The position is offered as an OTHER employment type with competitive pay starting from $17.34 per hour. The role requires physical capabilities such as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and being able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
  • Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants administration and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
  • Must be able to lift carry a maximum of 50 pounds push pull a maximum of 50 pounds stand sit bend and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to perform routine repetitive tasks continuously
  • Must be able to work around cleaning products
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine repetitive tasks daily
  • Residency within the service area required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks including cleaning resident rooms bathroom common areas and offices
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment
  • Interact positively with residents staff and guests providing excellent customer service
  • Perform routine repetitive tasks continuously
  • All other duties as assigned
