The role offers a competitive pay range of $17.25 to $18.25 per hour, with shifts available Monday through Friday, either from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The job is tailored to individuals who enjoy maintaining cleanliness and order in healthcare environments to support patient healing and comfort. Daily tasks include light cleaning activities such as making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and operating floor care equipment, which enhances the overall facility's appearance and hygiene standards.

Job Duties

  • performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments including hospitals in a clean and orderly manner
  • makes beds and replenishes linens
  • cleans rooms and hallways including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and polishing floors
  • vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies and shampoos carpets and upholstery
  • dusts and polishes furniture and metal fixtures
  • empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
  • cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers and wipes down glass surfaces
  • realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
  • responds to guest queries and housekeeping issues
  • contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism
