We are seeking a part-time housekeeper at Covenant Woods to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all facility areas, including residential cottages, apartments, assisted living zones, and nursing units. The housekeeper will be responsible for performing day-to-day cleaning and infection control tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for our residents. This position requires flexibility and dedication to meet the specific cleaning needs of the facility while adhering to established protocols. The role is scheduled for three weekdays with flexible hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 24 hours weekly. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail, reliability, and the physical ability to manage routine cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, replenishing supplies, and mopping. Moving intermittently throughout the workday is essential, and the position involves physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching frequently. The ability to lift and carry objects weighing an average of 10 pounds, up to a maximum of 25 pounds, and to push or pull weights averaging 15 pounds, up to 30 pounds is required.
