Job Requirements
- Ability to perform day-to-day housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing and mopping
- Physical ability to stoop, kneel, sit, crouch, crawl, twist and reach frequently
- Ability to lift and carry an average of 10 pounds up to maximum of 25 pounds
- Ability to push or pull an average of 15 pounds up to a maximum of 30 pounds
- Flexible to work 3 weekdays with schedule 7am to 3:30pm
- Dependable and regular attendance
- Ability to practice infection control cleaning tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience valued
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks requiring stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting
- Dependable work ethic and regular attendance
- Ability to follow infection control procedures
Job Duties
- Clean all areas including cottages, apartments, assisted living areas and nursing units
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing supplies and mopping
- Maintain infection control standards while cleaning
- Move intermittently throughout the workday
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds and push or pull weights up to 30 pounds
- Practice dependable, regular attendance
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines
