The Part-Time Housekeeper role at Resort Lifestyle Communities is much more than a typical cleaning position. It is a vital part of maintaining a welcoming and comfortable home for senior residents. In this role, the housekeeper works closely with residents to understand their individual cleaning preferences and ensures their living spaces are kept clean, safe, and pleasant. The role extends beyond routine cleaning tasks to include deep cleaning, upkeep of common areas, and preparing apartments for new residents or guests. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the housekeeper contributes significantly to the overall wellbeing and happiness of the community.
This part-time position requires individuals who are attentive to detail, reliable, and compassionate. Housekeepers must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, allowing the time needed to perform thorough cleaning duties while also fostering genuine connections with residents and other team members. The job also requires effective communication skills to engage with residents who might have diverse needs and preferences. Experience in housekeeping, particularly in hospitality, commercial, or residential settings, is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm
- Experience in housekeeping in a hospitality, commercial or residential setting preferred
- Ability to read, speak and understand basic English

Job Duties
- Welcome new residents and learn their cleaning preferences
- adjust apartment cleaning to meet individual needs and expectations
- clean residents’ apartments and community spaces on a regular schedule including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, changing linens, emptying trash, and performing seasonal tasks such as window and patio cleaning and HVAC filter changes
- perform deep cleaning of apartments after residents move out and care for vacant apartments to ensure they are clean and ready for new residents
- clean and prepare model apartments and guest suites by vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, washing linens, restocking supplies, and checking HVAC areas
- keep common areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests
- maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized way while using approved cleaning products and tools following PPE safety guidelines
- wash, dry, and care for housekeeping linens in a timely manner
