Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- willingness to work part-time hours
- ability to work Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- ability to work in physically demanding conditions including damp, dusty, and dirty areas
- capability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and solvents
- compliance with CMS and CDC health protocols
- ability to use personal protective equipment appropriately
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- experience in housekeeping helpful but not necessary
- ability to operate cleaning equipment
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- commitment to maintaining sanitary and infection-free environments
Job Duties
- Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuums and shampooers
- work in damp, dusty, and dirty areas
- clean up human waste and other body fluids as needed
- handle cleaning solvents and chemicals using proper personal protective equipment
- fulfill various resident requests within reason
