With its strategic location at 2375 E. Prater Way, the facility serves thousands of patients annually, ensuring that each individual receives attentive and compassionate medical care. This affiliation underscores Northern Nevada Medical Center's commitment to excellence and innovation in medical care.

The hospital is dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors, which is vital in supporting positive patient outcomes and enhancing overall satisfaction. The Housekeeper role at Northern Nevada Medical Center offers a part-time opportunity of 40 hours per week with a flexible evening shift schedule, ideal for individuals seeking a work-life balance. This role is fundamental in infection control and maintaining the hospital’s reputation as a clean and safe medical facility.

Beyond routine cleaning duties, the Housekeeper utilizes specific chemicals and supplies per protocol, adheres strictly to infection control and hand hygiene practices, and carefully handles the transport of trash and hazardous waste to designated disposal areas. The position also involves participation in performance improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing cleaning processes and overall hospital safety standards. With competitive compensation and generous paid time off, this role recognizes and rewards the essential work of maintaining a hospital environment conducive to health and healing.
