This opportunity is with a private couple living in the beautiful Palm Beach, Florida area, renowned for its upscale residences and vibrant community life. The household maintains a high standard of living, which requires an equally high standard of upkeep and management of the home environment. The family is seeking to expand their dedicated household team by adding a professional, detail-oriented Housekeeper. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a luxury home setting and who values teamwork, meticulous care, and professionalism in their work environment. The household team currently consists of four other housekeepers, a skilled chef, and a House Manager, emphasizing a collaborative and well-organized workplace.
The primary focus of this Housekeeper position is on laundry duties, including handling fine garments and linens, which demand expert care and attention to detail. Beyond laundry, the role supports the general cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas with an emphasis on maintaining impeccable cleanliness and order. This is not just any cleaning job; it involves maintaining the home at a museum-quality standard, carefully caring for fine art, antiques, delicate furniture surfaces, silver, brass, and china. Such a high level of maintenance ensures that the residence is always guest-ready and reflects the elegance and sophistication of a luxury Palm Beach home.
Additionally, this role requires occasional dog care, necessitating prior experience and comfort working with pets. Alongside maintaining the residence, the Housekeeper is involved in managing household supply inventories which include grocery shopping, personal shopping, and even arranging floral decorations to enhance the ambiance of the home. Organizational skills extend to managing closets and pantries as well as assisting with travel packing and unpacking, making this role dynamic and varied.
The schedule is full-time and runs from Tuesday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., requiring flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend work. The position is live-out and year-round, with some optional travel to the Hamptons during the summer months. Compensation is commensurate with experience, offering a competitive package for the right candidate.

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping and deep cleaning including vacuuming dusting sanitizing and proper garbage disposal
- Manage household supply inventory including grocery and personal shopping and floral arrangements
- Maintain the residence in guest-ready condition at all times
- Ensure museum-quality cleanliness with specialized care for fine art antiques furniture delicate surfaces silver brass and china
- Handle full-cycle laundry and ironing for clothing and linens including fine garments
- Organize closets and pantries assist with travel packing and unpacking
- Run daily errands and fulfill special requests
