Belmont Village Senior Living is currently offering an On Call Housekeeper position. This role involves flexible shift assignments, with shift times typically between 8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm. Housekeeping services are provided seven days a week, and the On Call Housekeeper could be asked to cover a shift any day of the week, including weekends. This flexibility caters to the dynamic needs of the community ensuring all residents enjoy clean, sanitary, and well-maintained surroundings.

As a Housekeeper at Belmont Village, the individual will carry out multi-functional duties centered on maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of various community spaces including resident apartments, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas. Responsibilities encompass vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchenettes, changing and laundering bedding, and more. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates a strong attention to detail. The role demands a professional yet friendly attitude, with emphasis on customer service and resident satisfaction in every interaction.

The position requires excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cleaning tasks independently, along with the ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work assigned shifts which may include early morning, weekends and holidays
  • all offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a state and federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum of 6 months of experience as a housekeeper in hotels or comparable setting
  • ability to organize and prioritize work independently and efficiently
  • must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
  • professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
  • consistent and reliable attendance

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of multiple assigned resident apartments and bathrooms including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and spot-cleaning carpets
  • collect, wash, fold and return resident laundry items to appropriate resident timely
  • pick up and properly dispose of resident trash, remove waste, replace trash can liners
  • communicate respectfully and professionally with residents and guests
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of administrative offices, hallways, and common spaces including dusting, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning carpets
  • thoroughly clean and sanitize common area bathrooms, restock supplies and ensure a fresh and tidy appearance
  • regularly empty trash and replace trashcan liners throughout the community
  • make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
