A private family in Mercer Island, Washington, is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain and organize their two-story home. Mercer Island is a serene, residential community known for its scenic beauty and friendly atmosphere. This household is busy and active, consisting of one parent who works from home and one school-aged child living full-time. The family values cleanliness, organization, and respectful professionalism in their home environment and are looking for a Housekeeper to provide consistent, independent support to maintain their high standards of living.

This position is part-time with a schedule from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, working four hours each day between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, totaling approximately 16 hours per week. The role offers compensation ranging between $35 and $45 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Key responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout all areas of the home, such as the kitchen, bedrooms, laundry rooms, and pool area. The Housekeeper performs laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, organizing, and putting away clothes and linens, regularly changing bed linens and attending to bedrooms as per the family's directions. The candidate will also be required to observe household systems carefully and take respectful care of all household items. While this position does not involve cooking or grocery shopping, it requires maintaining a professional, low-disruption presence, especially since one parent works from home, necessitating awareness of noise levels, phone use, and general conduct during work hours.
