The Lighthouse at Lincoln, a part of LCB Senior Living, is currently seeking part-time Housekeepers to join their dedicated team. As a Housekeeper at The Lighthouse at Lincoln, the individual will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of both residents' rooms and common areas. Job Requirements
- Must have appropriate training and/or background in a similar setting
- Must be able to perform routine cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping and disinfecting
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and perform physical activities including pushing, pulling, crouching, kneeling and bending
- Must use cleaning equipment such as mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners and buffers safely
- Ability to work 16 hours per week including weekends
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Must be willing to attend required in-service training and orientations
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning practices and substances
- Ability to identify cleaning needs and safety hazards
- Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
- Previous housekeeping experience in health care or hospitality setting is preferred
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Ability to maintain a clean and neat environment
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods of time
Job Duties
- Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers and the surrounding community
- As an associate you are expected to have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals
- Thoroughly cleaning the bathrooms including toilet, vanity, sink, shower, shower seat and floor with cleaning solution
- Cleans kitchen areas completely including wiping counters, mopping kitchen floors and cleaning under objects
- Empty wastebaskets and replace bags
- Dusting and polishing all surfaces
- Wipe off all surfaces including windowsills, woodwork and counters
- Cleaning carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting
- Cleaning all common areas and common bathrooms on a daily basis and as often as needed
