Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. As a comprehensive program, MCCS provides essential services and programs designed to meet the unique needs of Marines and military families. This includes recreation, wellness, support, and community outreach services that contribute to the morale, welfare, and overall wellbeing of the Marine Corps community. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Lead. This role focuses on ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of guestrooms and facilities within the Marine Corps Community Services properties. The Housekeeping Lead will be responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, training new housekeeping staff, and coordinating work schedules to meet operational needs. This position requires an individual with a strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, inventory management, and safety protocols. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently while also providing leadership and guidance to team members.
The Housekeeping Lead plays a critical role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, contributing directly to the quality of life for Marines and their families. The ideal candidate will be experienced with various cleaning tools and equipment, including industrial vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and buffers, and be knowledgeable about safe working habits and environmental conditions. This role also involves inspecting guestrooms daily to ensure they meet readiness standards and reporting maintenance requirements to the appropriate personnel. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain applicable government operator permits and hold a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles as needed.
