TouchPoint is currently seeking to hire a full-time Housekeeper Lead for the Ascension Providence Hospital located at 6901 Medical Parkway, Waco, TX. This role is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the hospital environment, which directly supports patient healing and satisfaction. The Housekeeper Lead will supervise, train, and inspect the housekeeping team to ensure adherence to established standards of cleanliness and service quality. Working a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with required rotating weekends, the position offers an hourly pay range of $17.50 to $20.00. This role requires strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to excellence in hospital housekeeping.
The Housekeeper Lead will play an essential role in delivering one-on-one quality service, resolving guest concerns, coordinating staff attendance and breaks, and maintaining the functionality and security of housekeeping equipment. They will prepare and distribute assignments, conduct staff training, and work closely with housekeeping staff to ensure consistent fulfillment of all cleaning protocols. A key aspect of this role includes documenting attendance and performance, managing staff replacement when needed, and ensuring safety and security standards for the team. Success in this role hinges on effective communication, team collaboration, and a genuine passion for supporting healing environments through exceptional hospitality services.

Job Duties
- Supervises, trains and inspects the performance of assigned housekeeping staff to ensure all procedures are completed according to unit standards
- Assists where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests
- Provides quality service to customers by offering one-on-one attention to detail
- Ensures assigned staff report to work and clock in properly
- Documents late or absent employees and call-offs
- Coordinates assigned staff breaks and prepares assignment sheets
- Communicates additions or changes to assignment sheets throughout shifts
- Assigns and secures designated keys, radios, and beepers
- Checks equipment for proper supplies, cleanliness, and mechanical problems
- Conducts staff training as assigned
- Resolves guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
- Performs other duties as assigned
