The Housekeeper Lead role at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel plays a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction expected from a top-tier hotel environment. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, Assistant Manager, and Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeper Lead assists in all aspects of hotel housekeeping operations and the management of the laundry room. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on supervising and training the hourly housekeeping team members to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.

This position requires close coordination for daily staffing plans to meet the demands of guest room cleaning and laundry services. The Housekeeper Lead is responsible for creating room assignments, conducting inspections of guest rooms and public hotel areas to ensure quality assurance, aiding in monthly inventory management, and overseeing supplies requisition. Additionally, the Lead addresses lost and found inquiries, enforces adherence to hotel policies and procedures, and helps train new housekeeping staff members.
