The position available is within the House Operations Department, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager. This part-time role is integral to ensuring the clubhouse's top two levels and associated outdoor areas such as the Grill Patio and Men’s Card Room Patio meet the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and aesthetic appeal. The role supports the Housekeeping Manager with departmental projects and programs and requires close collaboration with other departments including Food and Beverage, Engineering, Golf Operations, Non-Golf Sports, and the Pool Facility to promote seamless service quality throughout the club.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of housekeeping duties that maintain the presentation and hygiene of the clubhouse environment. These duties span cleaning, sanitizing, stocking, organizing, and attending to detail-oriented tasks that directly impact member satisfaction and safety. Attention to detail, proactive communication skills, and the ability to perform tasks independently and efficiently are vital for this role.
The physical requirements of the position involve prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and lifting of up to 40 pounds. Additionally, the job may occasionally require working outdoors and exposure to weather conditions. The role demands reliability, punctuality, adherence to Oak Hill’s appearance standards, and flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and extended hours. The club provides shirts as part of the uniform, while employees are responsible for pants and shoes following the dress code. Complimentary meals are offered during scheduled shifts, enhancing the overall employee experience.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess dependable transportation. Hospitality industry experience, especially in club or luxury resort housekeeping, is required, complemented by a minimum of a high school education or equivalent. The candidate should have or be able to obtain government-required licenses and possess a valid driver's license. Job Qualifications
- club luxury resort or hospitality industry housekeeping experience required
- high school or equivalent education required
- ability to obtain and or maintain government required licenses certificates or permits
- valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- ensure the highest standards of sanitation safety comfort and aesthetics
- assist the Housekeeping Manager with department projects and programs
- ensure adequate supplies on hand and requisition supplies
- work collaboratively with departments including Food and Beverage Engineering Golf Operations Non-Golf Sports and Pool Facility to maintain service quality
- clean sweep and detail the outside patio areas including Grill Patio and Men’s Card Room Patio
- stock housekeeping carts and hand caddies
- empty wastebaskets and ashtrays
- wipe windowsills walls and light switches
- vacuum rugs and floors
- dust furniture and fixtures
- check lamps for burnt-out bulbs
- clean and sanitize toilets fixtures and assigned restrooms
- restock towels wash clothes soap and other amenity supplies
- attend staff meetings
- perform other tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
