Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily in accordance with facility protocols
- Use proper chemicals in correct proportions
- Dust mop, wet mop, or spot-mop floors
- Empty trash containers, replace liners, and dispose of trash properly
- Vacuum carpets as directed by supervisor
- Use appropriate chemicals and equipment to wash and dry windows
- Report repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department
- Request needed supplies and equipment from supervisor
- Identify and correct safety hazards and abide by safety rules
- Attend weekly in-services and comply with patient care management systems
- Assure patient and resident safety
- Perform other assigned duties and tasks
