The Leasing Service Associate role at Greystar plays a crucial part in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of both vacant apartment homes and communal areas like leasing offices and amenities. This position is focused on ensuring that properties are consistently appealing and market-ready to attract potential residents. The role involves daily cleaning tasks and freshening of empty units and show homes, as well as assisting in preparing units for new tenants by supporting the make-ready process. Additionally, this position requires close communication with supervisors to report hazards, maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, and support enhanced property presentation standards. This role demands physical endurance, the ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. The position offers an hourly wage between $17.00 and $19.00 with additional opportunities for bonus incentives based on performance and company success. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and report hazards promptly
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
  • Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • Must have a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Cleans the leasing office, clubhouse and common-area restrooms, the model(s), amenities and vacant apartment homes on a daily basis or as directed by the appropriate supervisor
  • Ensures all vacant apartment homes and targeted show units are freshened throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal
  • Assists in the make-ready process by performing additional duties requested by Service Manager, Community Manager and/or Assistant Manager
  • Informs appropriate supervisor of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation to residents, team members, guests, and others
  • Maintains an appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies, and informs the appropriate supervisor when a re-order is necessary
