Aramark is currently seeking a professional Housekeeper to join their team. This role is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and orderly environments that contribute to the satisfaction and well-being of guests and clients. The Housekeeper is responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring that every area under their care is sanitary and welcoming. The Housekeeper plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations by maintaining all assigned areas, including corridors and ancillary zones, in a neat and sanitary fashion. They must utilize cleaning techniques learned during orientation and demonstrate a safe and efficient use of cleaning equipment and solutions. Attention to detail and integrity are critical traits needed to perform tasks such as disinfecting equipment, sterilizing supplies, and safely disposing of bio-hazardous materials according to universal precautions. The role also demands maintaining cleaning carts stocked and ensuring all chemicals and equipment meet safety standards.

Job Duties

- may disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment
- diligently employs universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials
- keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies
- ensures all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition
- promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintains professional conduct at all times
- assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department
- demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments
