The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning various areas of resort units, including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms, while maintaining strict housekeeping detail standards. The job requires attention to detail and efficiency in tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and making beds. Additionally, the Housekeeper handles the replenishment of supplies like kitchenware and toiletries, manages linens through sorting, counting, folding, and marking, and fosters positive relationships with both guests and associates. A customer-oriented mindset is essential, as the Housekeeper must respond appropriately and promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, aiming for total guest satisfaction. Handling guest issues to resolution is a key part of improving the overall guest experience.

This position demands the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while communicating clearly and professionally with employees, guests, and owners. The role requires independence in following instructions and a positive, professional appearance along with a can-do attitude focused on teamwork. Physical capability is necessary, as the Housekeeper must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Compensation for this role is set at an hourly rate of $21.50.

Job Duties

  • clean resort units including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms
  • maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards
  • clean, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies
  • make beds and replenish supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries
