The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is currently seeking Housekeepers to join their hospitality team. As a Housekeeper, your role is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the guest rooms. This position is more than just cleaning – it’s about spreading warmth and personalizing the guest experience to ensure every visitor's stay is exceptional. The role requires full availability, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, emphasizing the importance of dedication and flexibility in hospitality. The starting hourly wage is $26.36, with an increase to $32.95 after 18 months of employment, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding long-term team members.

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping guest rooms spotless by performing a variety of cleaning tasks such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and carrying out deep cleaning as necessary. You will replenish linens and essential amenities to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Managing supplies effectively by stocking, maintaining, and transporting housekeeping carts is also crucial. Responding to guest requests promptly and courteously forms a key part of your duties, reinforcing Hilton’s dedication to unparalleled service quality. Additionally, proper waste disposal, including trash and recyclables, must be handled according to designated protocols.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including overnight shifts weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including standing walking and lifting

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred but not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including overnight shifts weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact kindly with guests and team members
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn and follow established safety and hygiene protocols

Job Duties

  • Keep guest rooms spotless by cleaning and tidying assigned rooms including making beds cleaning bathrooms dusting vacuuming and performing deep cleaning tasks as needed
  • Replenish linens and amenities by replacing bed linens towels and guest essentials as needed
  • Manage supplies by stocking maintaining and transporting the housekeeping supply cart daily
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously to delight guests
  • Manage waste disposal by disposing of trash and recyclables in designated areas
