MemorialCare is offering an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper I on a per diem basis located in Fountain Valley. This role is specifically tailored for night shifts and offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $23.00. The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper I is to maintain hospital cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This position requires the performance of a variety of housekeeping duties, including cleaning, moving furniture and equipment, and using appropriate cleaning agents aligned with established protocols. The role demands careful attention to detail in following safety practices such as the proper use of wet floor signs, biohazard waste handling, and timely linen changes. Additionally, the Housekeeper I must be capable of responding efficiently to emergency situations involving both patient and building safety according to hospital guidelines and regulatory standards. Punctuality, adherence to hospital policies, and positive interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this position.
