Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- One year of cleaning experience or equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
- Ability to pass FBI background check
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work the scheduled hours
- Ability to climb ladders
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to adhere to safety standards
- Ability to recognize and report safety hazards
- Ability to maintain documentation
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- Ability to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, cold, noise and vibration
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- One year of cleaning experience or equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
- Ability to pass FBI background check
- Knowledge of housekeeping methods, materials and equipment
- Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
- Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift and transport materials up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work on ladders safely
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work required hours of the position
Job Duties
- Clean interior surfaces including vacuuming and extracting carpets
- Clean, strip, wax and buff floors
- Clean light fixtures, furniture, walls and windows
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms and restrooms
- Collect and dispose waste and recycling materials
- Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors and vacuums
- Report equipment needing repair and request work orders
- Climb ladders to reach high areas for cleaning
- Arrange furniture for meetings and community affairs
- Maintain awareness of safety and quality assurance standards
- Maintain documentation as required
- Communicate effectively with staff and public
- Operate vehicles and drive responsibly
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed
