The role available is for a Housekeeper I, a Per Diem position based at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This position works the evening shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, including weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation schedules. This role ensures cleanliness, safety, and orderliness throughout hospital environments by performing essential housekeeping tasks in assigned areas. The position is essential to maintaining the health and safety standards that contribute to an optimal care environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
In addition to serving a vital operational function, Housekeeper I is part of a community-focused team contributing directly to Southcoast Health's mission by creating a clean and safe healthcare environment. The role entails strict adherence to established cleaning protocols and procedures, requiring employees to perform tasks with minimal supervision while ensuring the highest standards of environmental hygiene. Compensation for this role will be based on experience, reflecting Southcoast Health’s commitment to fair and competitive wages. The pay range for this position is $16.32 to $22.94 per hour.

The organization encourages professional development through customized leadership training and tuition assistance or federal loan forgiveness programs. Benefits also include a generous earned time off package, an employee wellbeing program, and a 403B retirement plan with a company match. Potential employees should note that they must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or formally exempt for medical or personal reasons upon hire.
