The Housekeeper I position plays a critical role within the Housekeeping Department, supporting the hospital's overall mission by maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment essential for patient safety and comfort. This part-time role is based in Fountain Valley and operates primarily during day shifts, offering a competitive pay range of $22.00 to $28.64 per hour. Housekeeper I is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties, including cleaning patient rooms, moving furniture and equipment, and using proper cleaning supplies in adherence to established protocols. The role demands a candidate who can work safely, follow instructions carefully, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key responsibilities include safe biohazard waste management, proper use of wet floor signs, and responding appropriately to emergency situations that impact patient or building safety. Additionally, this position requires reliable attendance and punctuality, a positive and cooperative approach when interacting with others, and strict adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or related experience preferred
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Experience in the hospitality field, healthcare preferred
- Ability to be punctual and reliable
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to interact positively with coworkers and supervisors
- Ability to perform basic cleaning duties safely
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow oral instructions and understand simple written instructions
- Able to follow work schedule that may vary with assignments
- Experience in the hospitality field, healthcare experience preferred

- Good command of the English language
