The Housekeeper I position plays a critical role within the Housekeeping Department, supporting the hospital's overall mission by maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment essential for patient safety and comfort. This part-time role is based in Fountain Valley and operates primarily during day shifts, offering a competitive pay range of $22.00 to $28.64 per hour. Housekeeper I is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties, including cleaning patient rooms, moving furniture and equipment, and using proper cleaning supplies in adherence to established protocols. The role demands a candidate who can work safely, follow instructions carefully, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key responsibilities include safe biohazard waste management, proper use of wet floor signs, and responding appropriately to emergency situations that impact patient or building safety.
