The role currently available is for a House Attendant within the Housekeeping team, a vital function in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of the hotel’s environment. This position is crucial because cleanliness is one of the main factors that influence guests to return and recommend the hotel to others. The House Attendant is responsible for preparing and maintaining public spaces to ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable and spotless atmosphere throughout their stay. This role demands great attention to detail, a caring attitude, and teamwork abilities because it supports room attendants and contributes directly to guest satisfaction.

As a House Attendant, you will engage with guests to ensure their needs are met and their stay is memorable. The job involves walking assigned floors to collect trash and soiled linen, replenishing clean linen stocks, and assisting with guest requests such as delivering towels, cribs, or cots. The role also includes cleaning public areas following strict operating procedures and helping with spring cleaning duties when needed. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping experience desirable
  • ability to work on feet for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift and carry at least 25lbs

  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

  • lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
  • work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
  • walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen
  • pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry
  • deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to the guest rooms on requests
  • perform duties of room attendant when necessary
  • refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry
  • help the room attendants with the heavy lifting when super cleaning/spring cleaning of rooms
  • clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures
  • remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner
  • always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members
