The role of Hotel Housekeeper at WaterWalk Hospitality is vital to maintaining the high standards the brand is known for. As a Hotel Housekeeper, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms and common areas meet the company’s rigorous cleanliness and maintenance standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to established guidelines.

Key responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms with attention to detail on tasks such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities like towels and toiletries. Additionally, housekeepers will maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and public restrooms to ensure they are tidy, safe, and welcoming at all times. Managing linen and laundry operations is another critical aspect, requiring the collection, sorting, and transporting of linens to the laundry area and ensuring an adequate supply of clean linens is available.

Interacting with guests respectfully and promptly responding to their requests enhances the overall guest experience and reflects the company’s commitment to service excellence. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred

  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus

Job Duties

  • clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel standards including making beds cleaning bathrooms dusting vacuuming and replenishing amenities
  • ensure all rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies such as towels toiletries and coffee tea supplies
  • report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
  • clean and maintain common areas of the hotel including hallways lobbies elevators and public restrooms
  • ensure common areas are always tidy clean and welcoming to guests
  • collect sort and transport linens and towels to the laundry area
  • respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously
  • follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions
  • collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure all rooms and common areas are cleaned in a timely manner
  • assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor
