Committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents, PruittHealth upholds a philosophy centered on family values, inclusivity, and compassionate care. The organization strives to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all residents, staff, and visitors through dedicated services and a commitment to compliance with federal and state regulations. PruittHealth values each member of its community, promoting an atmosphere where everyone is considered part of one larger, supportive family.
The Housekeeper role at PruittHealth is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility, which directly impacts the quality of life and health of the residents. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for delivering essential housekeeping services in alignment with established facility policies and procedures as well as adhering to strict state and federal guidelines. This position requires attention to detail and consistency in executing cleaning tasks that contribute to a homelike and sanitary environment. From sweeping and mopping floors to cleaning windows and bathrooms, the role is hands-on and instrumental in infection control efforts within the healthcare setting.
Ideal candidates will not necessarily require prior experience as on-the-job training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or continue a career in environmental services within the healthcare sector. While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, the primary focus is on commitment to learning, adherence to protocols, and contribution to the team’s overall mission. The housekeeper will also utilize safe work practices, including the appropriate use of wet floor signs and ladders, to ensure safety for themselves and those around them.
PruittHealth’s approach to employment is inclusive, valuing diversity and equal opportunity for all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status. By joining PruittHealth as a Housekeeper, you become part of a dedicated workforce aimed at creating a difference in the lives of residents by maintaining an environment that supports both physical and emotional well-being. This role plays a fundamental part in the operational effectiveness of the facility and helps in fostering a welcoming, clean, and safe atmosphere for all occupants and guests. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply and contribute to the family-oriented culture of PruittHealth.
