Job Requirements

- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving furniture
- Willingness to follow safety protocols including the use of wet floor signs
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation principles
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services preferred
- Ability to follow facility policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Sweeps damp mops and wet mops tile floors
- May spray buff strip or wax floors according to procedures
- Vacuums carpeted rooms as applicable
- Empties trash cans cleans and replaces liners
- Cleans bathroom sinks fixtures and toilets
- Cleans glass surfaces such as mirrors pictures and windows
- Cleans behind and underneath furnishings
- Follows infection control standards during cleaning
- Prevents Removes wax and dirt buildup in corners and doorways
- Changes soiled privacy curtains and draperies
- Removes and re-hangs curtains using a ladder
- Dusts and damp cleans surfaces in resident rooms
- Moves furniture to clean behind and underneath
- Turns bed mattresses after cleaning
