Job Duties
- perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms meeting rooms and public spaces
- flip and inspect mattresses and box springs
- assemble bed frames
- vacuum behind and underneath furniture
- spot clean carpets and upholstery
- dust and touch-up paint and furniture
- inspect and repair grout and caulking
- replace light fixtures
- perform minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats changing light bulbs and patching holes in walls
- clean guestroom surfaces including tubs wall tiles hard floors walls windows and mirrors
- report serious maintenance problems unusual findings or safety hazards to manager or supervisor
- follow company safety and security policies and procedures and complete safety training and certifications
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guest service needs
- support team to reach common goals and maintain positive working relationships
- reach overhead and below the knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping
- move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- assist with moving lifting carrying and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds
- stand sit or walk for extended periods or entire work shifts
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested
