This position is for a Housekeeper role, offering an hourly pay rate of $18 with a schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 8 AM to 4 PM, providing Fridays and Saturdays off. The Housekeeper will play a crucial part in ensuring that the property's interior and exterior spaces are clean, well-maintained, and safe for residents, visitors, and staff. This role requires advanced cleaning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks using appropriate tools and safety practices.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for a range of cleaning and maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, shampooing carpets, window cleaning, and trash disposal. The position also involves inspecting the cleanliness of assigned areas daily, maintaining cleaning supplies according to OSHA hazardous chemical guidelines, and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Additionally, you may be required to clean restrooms, replenish dispensers like hand soap and paper towels, and assist in emergency cleaning situations. The job demands strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to handle physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environmental conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind.

Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures
- Ability to work in an upright standing position for long periods
- Ability to crawl in small and tight spaces
- Ability to work in different environmental conditions such as heat, cold, wind, and rain
- Ability to walk and climb stairs
- Ability to handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property and building as required
- Ability to repeatedly perform motions with wrists, hands, and fingers
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3 ft)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Previous custodial experience preferred but not required
- Multiple language fluency is desirable
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow safety and security protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning
- Inspect assigned areas daily and report cleaning or maintenance discrepancies to Supervisor
- Maintain cleaning solutions and supplies in accordance with OSHA hazardous chemical regulations
- Remove trash from premises and assist in emergency cleaning situations
- Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures
- Clean restrooms including floors, toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and counters
- Refill dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper, and hand soap
- Ensure security and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Complete daily work orders as scheduled
- Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition
