Ranked among Newsweek's America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025, Drury Hotels offers more than just a job – it offers a place to grow both professionally and personally.
The role currently available is a full-time or part-time Housekeeper position at the Grand Rapids location. This position plays a vital part in delivering a memorable hospitality experience by ensuring cleanliness and comfort for both business travelers and vacationing families. Housekeepers at Drury Hotels contribute to maintaining the high standards that distinguish this brand by making guest rooms spotless, inviting, and well-stocked with necessary amenities. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness beyond the competition ensures guests return time after time.
This position does not require previous cleaning experience, making it an accessible opportunity for individuals looking to start or continue a career in hospitality. Housekeepers work in a team-oriented environment under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper and the Assistant General Manager, performing critical duties such as vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, inspecting rooms, and assisting guests when needed. The job demands physical stamina and attention to detail to maintain the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Drury Hotels offers a competitive starting hourly wage with the added benefit of quarterly bonuses of up to $3200 per year, dependent on the hotel’s performance, reflecting the company’s "We succeed together" philosophy. In addition to this financial incentive, team members benefit from flexible scheduling, paid time off, hotel discounts, and free room nights. The company fosters career progression through mentorship, cross-training, personalized development plans, and management training programs, with over 200 internal promotions in the past year alone. Comprehensive health benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and access to a Team Member Assistance Program. Employees can also participate in a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan.
The culture at Drury Hotels is one of respect, teamwork, and recognition. Employees describe a workplace where they feel like part of a family, balancing life outside of work with meaningful and rewarding day-to-day experiences. The Housekeeper role offers an excellent entry point for building a long-term career in hospitality with ample opportunities for advancement. Candidates are expected to bring a positive attitude, the ability to work independently while following instructions, and a customer-focused mindset that aligns with the company’s Service +1 philosophy. The role requires some weekend availability, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays when the hotel experiences its busiest times.
By joining Drury Hotels as a Housekeeper, individuals become part of a brand that is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting its team members, and promoting ongoing growth and success within the hospitality industry. This is an immediate hiring opportunity offering job stability, rewarding benefits, and a welcoming workplace environment in the vibrant community of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
