Housekeeper Full Time Mornings

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper for a full-time position reporting directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor. This non-exempt classification role requires an individual who is committed to upholding health and safety standards through thorough cleaning and maintenance of resident rooms, community areas, and staff workspaces. The Housekeeper will be responsible for various cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms, as well as handling floor coverings and furniture cleanliness. In addition to these tasks, the position involves operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and washing machines, and safely using cleaning chemicals and materials.

This full-time role operates on a schedule from 6 am to 2:30 pm, encompassing around 36 or more hours weekly. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in laundry management, assisting with meal service and meal delivery, and managing inventories of linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Organizational skills are important as the role involves maintaining orderly storage areas and preparing rooms for meetings or events by arranging furniture and equipment appropriately.

The job also requires the individual to protect resident and guest property, promptly reporting any damage, theft, or found items. The Housekeeper is expected to employ proper lifting techniques and safe work practices throughout their duties while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude to respond to resident needs effectively. Ultimately, this position supports the overall cleanliness and operational efficiency of the facility, contributing significantly to a positive living and working environment for all.
