Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Related experience 0-1 year preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe application
- Working knowledge of cleaning tools such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
- Ability to perform physical tasks including moving furniture and equipment
- Willingness to work onsite during evening shifts
- Commitment to adhere to infection control guidelines and organizational policies

- Ability to follow established cleaning protocols and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Performs cleaning duties in alignment with the organization and infection control guidelines
- Completes waste stream removal
- Cleans and services assigned areas according to established procedures
- Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around departments
- Operates assigned equipment such as floor machines and buffers
- Participates in a minimum of eight unit or department meetings annually
- Maintains assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times
