This onsite position at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital located at 1575 Cambridge Street seeks a diligent and motivated individual for the role of a Cleaning Technician in the evening shift. The role is designed to play an essential part in maintaining a sanitary, safe, and orderly hospital environment integral to patient and staff safety as well as infection prevention. The Cleaning Technician will perform routine and specialized cleaning and sanitization tasks using appropriate chemicals, tools, and equipment to ensure all hospital areas, including patient and non-patient zones, are clean and compliant with organizational and infection control standards. This role does not involve patient care but focuses on environmental hygiene, disposal of hazardous waste, and sterilization processes.
Working 40 hours per week, this regular employee position offers a pay range between $17.71 and $22.15 per hour. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Performs cleaning duties in alignment with the organization and infection control guidelines
- Completes waste stream removal
- Cleans and services assigned areas according to established procedures
- Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around departments
- Operates assigned equipment such as floor machines and buffers
- Participates in a minimum of eight unit or department meetings annually
- Maintains assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times
