Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- no prior experience necessary as training will be provided
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks effectively
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills for responding to guest and staff inquiries
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to adhere to safety and cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- perform light cleaning duties including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing floors
- vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery
- clean and dust furniture, metal fixtures, and fittings
- make beds and change linens as required
- empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
- clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and wipe down glass surfaces
- respond to guest queries and housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
- realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layouts
- contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and associates
- perform other duties as assigned
