Job Description

TouchPoint is a dedicated support services provider operating under the Compass Healthcare umbrella, focused on delivering exceptional hospitality and facility maintenance services across Ascension Health hospitals throughout the United States. Located at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, TouchPoint is an organization committed to fostering healing environments for patients, visitors, and families by maintaining clean, orderly, and welcoming spaces. As a part of a globally recognized foodservice and support services leader, Compass Group, TouchPoint upholds a culture of care, excellence, and community belonging, ensuring their associates feel empowered and supported in their roles. They emphasize teamwork, professionalism, and a mission-driven approach to healthcare hospitality.

The Housekeeper role at TouchPoint embodies the spirit of serving others and plays a vital part in patient care by sustaining the cleanliness and hygiene of hospital environments. Housekeepers contribute significantly to the health and comfort of patients and visitors by performing light cleaning duties including bed making, linen replenishment, room and hallway cleaning, and vacuuming. These duties are essential in creating a safe and pleasant environment conducive to healing. The position offers both full-time and part-time schedules with varied hours primarily from Monday through Friday, including rotating weekends. Compensation for the role ranges from $16.13 to $18.38 per hour, reflecting the importance of this hands-on role.

This role is accessible to candidates who may not have prior housekeeping experience as on-the-job training is provided, which underscores TouchPoint's commitment to team member growth and support. Housekeepers are expected to deliver quality customer service, respond promptly to guest inquiries or housekeeping issues, and contribute positively to the overall team dynamic. The work environment requires attention to detail, responsibility, and a caring approach that aligns with the company's broader mission to improve the health of vulnerable populations.

TouchPoint values diversity and inclusiveness in their workplace, providing equal opportunity employment and accommodating reasonable needs for candidates with disabilities. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both personal and professional well-being, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, employee assistance programs, and various voluntary insurance options. TouchPoint also provides unique benefits such as identity theft protection, pet insurance, flexible spending accounts, and an associate shopping program which enhances the daily lives of their team members.

Working as a Housekeeper at TouchPoint is more than just maintaining cleanliness—it is about creating moments that matter, supporting a greater mission with each task completed. The culture within TouchPoint fosters mutual respect and teamwork, encouraging associates to develop their careers while maintaining a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment. Candidates passionate about hospitality and service, especially within the healthcare sector, will find this role rewarding and impactful. TouchPoint’s commitment to a drug-free workplace and background screening ensures a safe and professional setting for all employees and patients alike.
