TouchPoint Support Services is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Housekeeper positions at Ascension Providence Hospital located at 6901 Medical Parkway, Waco, TX 76712. TouchPoint is a part of Compass Healthcare, which is dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality services at Ascension Health hospitals across the United States. Job Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm schedule
- Willingness to work rotating weekends
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies safely
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a schedule including rotating weekends
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
- Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- Cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- Empties and cleans trash containers
- Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- Wipes down glass surfaces
- Makes up beds and changes linens as required
- Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- Responds to guest queries and requests
- Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses
- Contributes to team efforts
- exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
- Performs other duties as assigned
