Job Requirements
- prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- ability to work full time or part time
- availability to work Monday through Friday with rotating weekend shifts
- ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting and bending
- ability to adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- customer service orientation
- ability to respond promptly to housekeeping issues
- legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- ability to pass background screening if applicable
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
- good communication skills to interact with patients and visitors
- ability to work flexible hours including rotating weekends
- commitment to teamwork and professionalism
- willingness to learn and participate in training programs
Job Duties
- provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts
- exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
- performs other duties as assigned
