The Housekeeping role at Sierra Medical Center offers a full-time position that comes complete with full benefits and a convenient work schedule. This role is vital in maintaining the hospital's commitment to providing a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The Housekeeping position is designed for someone dynamic and proactive, responsible for cleaning all designated hospital areas according to stringent policies and procedures. Beyond the routine cleaning responsibilities, the role involves participating in performance improvement activities aimed at elevating the overall effectiveness and standards of the environmental services department.

Job Duties
- Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the environmental services department
- Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner
- Completes work assignments in a timely manner
- Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure
- Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions
