Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a rapidly growing, family-owned company that exemplifies dedication to serving seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. Operating in a beautiful, resort-style environment, RLC prioritizes a supportive leadership team and a close-knit community where employees and residents alike feel valued and respected. At the core of RLC's values are respect, honesty, kindness and compassion, and service excellence, all of which contribute to the company’s mission to deliver exceptional service and create a home-like atmosphere for its senior residents.
RLC is currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join their dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the comfort and cleanliness of the community, ensuring that residents always feel welcomed and at ease in their surroundings. The full-time Housekeeper position offers competitive compensation and benefits, embodying the company’s commitment to supporting its employees as much as its residents. The availability of an employee benefit stipend that can be applied towards a wide range of health and insurance options, paid time off, and a 401(k) with employer matching makes the role attractive for those looking for stability and a rewarding career path within the hospitality and senior living sectors.
The Housekeeper’s responsibilities extend far beyond typical cleaning duties. This role demands a servant-hearted approach, as it involves establishing genuine connections with residents while tending to their individual preferences and needs. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in adjusting cleaning routines based on each resident’s preferences to enhance their living experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offering consistent hours conducive to a healthy work-life balance.
Daily tasks for the Housekeeper include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, changing linens, and emptying trash. Seasonal duties also form part of the job, such as window and patio cleaning and changing HVAC filters. This variety ensures that the role remains engaging and responsive to the changing needs of the community. In addition, the Housekeeper cleans and prepares model apartments and guest suites, making sure each area is hygienic, well-stocked, and welcoming. All cleaning practices follow strict safety guidelines, including the use of approved products and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Moreover, this role requires meticulous organization and maintenance of cleaning carts, closets, storage spaces, and linens, all essential to smooth daily operations. For new residents and guests, the Housekeeper is often the first point of contact, making it a role where interpersonal skills and attention to detail are highly valued. This position is critical in upholding the community’s vibrant and comfortable atmosphere, contributing significantly to guest and resident satisfaction, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. Joining Resort Lifestyle Communities as a Housekeeper means becoming part of a meaningful, purpose-driven team dedicated to making a difference every day.
