Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital of Lubbock is a distinguished inpatient rehabilitation facility located at 4302 Princeton Street in Lubbock, Texas. This 93-bed hospital specializes in comprehensive rehabilitative care for both adult and pediatric patients, addressing complex medical conditions such as stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma, and more. We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team of compassionate patient caregivers. This role is critical in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. As a Housekeeper at Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of rooms, including those following isolation protocols, and performing routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies. Your attention to detail and adherence to hospital environmental services procedures will directly contribute to the overall mission of empowering patients to regain independence and achieve their best outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess previous housekeeping or environmental services experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Key skills include knowledge of healthcare environmental cleaning procedures, strong organizational and time management capabilities, effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to maintain quality, safety, and confidentiality standards. As a team member, you’ll work closely and professionally with others to uphold the hospital’s mission and guiding principles in daily practice.

  • Dusts, mops, and cleans items such as medicine cabinets, furniture, metals, mirrors, and equipment
  • Vacuums blinds, screens, and vents
  • Performs miscellaneous duties such as replenishing supplies
  • Sterilizes rooms after isolation
  • Integrates the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
