The Full-Time Housekeeper role at RLC is much more than routine cleaning—it is an opportunity to support seniors by maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment that truly feels like home. Housekeepers play a crucial role in directly contributing to the happiness and wellbeing of residents by tailoring services to meet individual preferences and by upholding the highest standards of cleanliness in private apartments, common areas, and community spaces. Through daily interactions, housekeepers establish meaningful relationships with residents and fellow team members, reflecting RLC’s emphasis on respect and kindness.

This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with competitive full-time benefits, including access to pay anytime, a generous benefit stipend, paid time off, and retirement plans with employer match. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Ability to read, speak and understand basic English
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in housekeeping in a hospitality, commercial, or residential setting preferred
  • Ability to read, speak and understand basic English
  • Ability to follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build respectful relationships with residents and team members
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Welcome new residents and learn their cleaning preferences
  • Adjust apartment cleaning to meet individual needs and expectations
  • Clean residents’ apartments and community spaces on a regular schedule including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, changing linens, emptying trash, and seasonal tasks such as window and patio cleaning and HVAC filter changes
  • Perform deep cleaning of apartments after move-out and prepare vacant apartments for new residents
  • Clean and prepare model apartments and guest suites by vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, washing linens, restocking supplies, and checking HVAC areas
  • Keep common areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner, following PPE safety guidelines
  • Wash, dry, and care for housekeeping linens promptly
