Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company that operates over 60 senior living communities nationwide. RLC is dedicated to serving seniors by creating a welcoming, resort-style environment where residents feel at home and cared for. The company is driven by core values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence which shape every aspect of its operations. RLC's mission is not just to provide housing but to foster a vibrant, supportive community where seniors thrive, staff are valued, and every day brings a meaningful connection. They strive for four critical goals: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and operations that stay on budget.
The role of Full-Time Housekeeper at Resort Lifestyle Communities is a vital part of maintaining that warm and inviting atmosphere. This position transcends the traditional concept of cleaning; it focuses on helping to create a comfortable and welcoming home for residents. Housekeepers at RLC build genuine connections with residents, guests, and team members, contributing directly to the quality of life and satisfaction of everyone in the community. In this role, you will have a meaningful purpose — ensuring residents' apartments and the common areas are clean, organized, and welcoming while accommodating individual preferences and needs.
Housekeepers are responsible for a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks including regular apartment cleaning, community space upkeep, deep cleaning after resident move-outs, and caring for model apartments and guest suites. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, changing linens, emptying trash, seasonal jobs such as window and patio cleaning, and HVAC filter changes. Maintaining housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and orderly fashion is also essential. Employees follow strict safety guidelines using only approved cleaning products and personal protective equipment.
This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, offering stability and work-life balance. RLC provides competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes access to pay anytime, a substantial benefit stipend every pay period to apply toward health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, various savings accounts, and legal protections. Additional benefits include paid time off and a 401(k) plan with employer match. These benefits reinforce RLC’s commitment to employee wellbeing and financial security.
Joining RLC means becoming part of a servant-hearted, close-knit community focused on making a positive difference in the lives of seniors. If you have experience in housekeeping within hospitality, commercial, or residential settings and enjoy working in an environment where respect and kindness are foundational, this role offers both purpose and professional growth. RLC supports and leads their teams in an enriching, beautiful resort-style setting where your work truly matters and where you can feel part of a family devoted to service excellence.
