The housekeeper is responsible for sweeping, mopping floors, dusting surfaces including walls, mirrors, and windows, and emptying trash receptacles regularly. The role also requires adherence to safety standards when using cleaning supplies and equipment, emphasizing proper placement of caution signs and keeping dangerous materials out of residents’ reach. The housekeeper maintains the housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner, facilitating an efficient workflow.

The position demands excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude, as employees often interact with residents and staff. Time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial qualities for success in this role.
