Located at Via Christi Saint Joe in Wichita, Kansas, the TouchPoint team is currently hiring for full-time Housekeeper roles on the 2nd shift, typically from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, including rotating weekends. These positions offer an hourly wage between $15.00 and $16.00, reflecting the company’s respect for quality service and experience. Job Requirements

  • Prior housekeeping and/or hospital experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time schedule including 2nd shift hours from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
  • Availability to work rotating weekends
  • Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
  • Willingness to maintain a drug-free workplace
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • Experience in hospital or healthcare settings is preferred
  • Ability to provide attentive customer service
  • Ability to perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service to customers by offering one-on-one attention to detail
  • Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings
  • Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
  • Wipe down glass surfaces
  • Make up beds and change linens as required
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
  • Respond to guest queries and requests
  • Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
  • Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
  • Perform other duties as assigned
