PruittHealth is a leading healthcare provider specializing in delivering quality and compassionate care to residents in a variety of healthcare settings. With a strong commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment, PruittHealth operates a network of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and rehabilitation centers across multiple states. Recognized for their dedication to improving the quality of life for their residents, PruittHealth combines expert medical care with a family-oriented approach to serve the physical, emotional, and social needs of each individual.
As an established healthcare organization, PruittHealth prioritizes maintaining a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors alike. This commitment underscores every aspect of their operations, with strict adherence to federal and state regulations to ensure compliance and the highest standards of care. The company embraces an inclusive culture that values diversity and equal employment opportunities for all qualified candidates regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
The Housekeeper role at PruittHealth is vital in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and homelike atmosphere within the healthcare facility. This position supports the overall goal of enhancing residents' quality of life through diligent housekeeping practices that meet facility policies and infection control standards. Working within a team environment, housekeepers contribute significantly to infection prevention by following established cleaning protocols in high-touch and sensitive areas such as resident rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces.
Employees in this role perform various cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, trash removal, and cleaning of glass surfaces like windows and mirrors. The housekeeper is also responsible for managing floor care techniques such as spray buffing and waxing to ensure the facility maintains a polished appearance. Attention to detail is essential as the housekeeper cleans behind and underneath furniture and regularly changes soiled privacy curtains to support residents' comfort and privacy.
This position does not require prior experience since comprehensive on-the-job training is provided. However, previous experience in healthcare housekeeping or environmental services is preferred and a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable. PruittHealth values employees who are reliable, conscientious, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service to support the needs of residents, their families, and the entire care team.
In joining PruittHealth, employees become part of a compassionate family united by a shared mission to care, give, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. This role offers an opportunity to grow within a respected healthcare company that recognizes and values the contribution of every team member in creating a safe and welcoming environment.
Overall, the housekeeper role is more than just cleaning; it is about fostering dignity, respect, and comfort for those who call PruittHealth home. Individuals passionate about supporting healthcare delivery through environmental excellence will find this position rewarding and impactful.
