Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- physical ability to perform heavy work with continual and repetitive motions
- proficiency in operation of cleaning equipment
- knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals
- willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to adhere to safety protocols
- participation in orientation and ongoing training
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- proficiency in operating cleaning machines and use of chemicals
- ability to follow safety and regulatory guidelines
- ability to perform heavy physical work including lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing
- good communication skills
- willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- perform all cleaning functions in assigned areas to maintain sanitary conditions
- focus on cleaning patient care, non-patient care, and common areas
- operate various types of cleaning equipment proficiently including automatic floor machines, burnishers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners
- comply with safety and regulatory standards
- work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- assist in achieving overall division and hospital goals
- participate in ongoing education and training
