Job Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions or directions
- Some environmental services experience is desirable but not essential
- Must know how to use environmental services equipment and products such as hand tools, cleaning chemicals, floor maintenance materials and powered equipment
- Must be familiar with standard procedures used during the execution of assigned duties and the cleaning of an isolation or biologically hazardous area
- Ability to perform tasks with due consideration for the patients in the vicinity

Job Duties
- Clean and service the building using appropriate environmental services equipment and products
- Follow standard cleaning procedures including cleaning of isolation or biologically hazardous areas
- Perform tasks with consideration for residents in the vicinity
- Operate floor maintenance materials and powered equipment safely
- Adhere to instructions and directions provided by supervisors
- Support a hygienic and welcoming environment for residents and staff
- Assist in maintaining compliance with health and safety standards
