As one of Southern California’s newest hospitals, it boasts all-private patient rooms and offers high-quality, award-winning patient care to the residents and visitors of the Antelope Valley and surrounding regions. The hospital is deeply embedded within the local community, actively participating with the Antelope Valley Board of Trade and the Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance (now AV Edge), in addition to supporting a variety of nonprofit and healthcare-related organizations. This engagement reflects Palmdale Regional’s strong commitment to "Community Service Excellence," ensuring that it not only provides top-tier medical services but also fosters positive relationships that benefit the wider community.

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is part of the Southwest Healthcare network, a comprehensive regional brand comprising five hospitals and multiple ambulatory locations throughout Southern California. This extensive network is powered by over 7,000 skilled care providers, united by the goal of delivering convenient access to an extensive range of healthcare services. Through this affiliation, Palmdale Regional benefits from the shared resources, standards, and innovations of a broad healthcare system, enabling it to provide exceptional care and maintain its position as a leader in hospital services.

Further elevating its reputation, Palmdale Regional is owned and operated by Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), one of the nation’s largest and most respected healthcare service providers. With a workforce of 99,000 employees and operations that span 28 acute care hospitals, 331 behavioral health facilities, and 60 outpatient centers across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom, UHS offers employees the advantage of belonging to a globally recognized healthcare organization that prioritizes excellence and growth.

The role in focus is a Housekeeper position at Palmdale Regional Medical Center, designed for individuals passionate about maintaining a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The Housekeeper performs essential daily cleaning tasks across patient rooms, discharge rooms, restrooms, non-patient areas, and public spaces. This role requires adherence to strict cleaning procedures and universal precautions to uphold the hospital's high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Additionally, the Housekeeper manages linen distribution to ensure that all departments remain well-stocked and equipped.

Compensation for this role ranges from $23.00 to $34.32 per hour, reflecting the value Palmdale Regional places on quality housekeeping services. This opportunity also provides generous paid time off and career development pathways within UHS's extensive network of more than 300 subsidiaries, offering significant potential for professional growth and advancement within the healthcare sector.

Candidates for this role should possess prior housekeeping experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and basic organizational and computer skills. Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) is required within 30 days of hire, underscoring the hospital’s focus on safety and staff preparedness.
