We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our team at our Madison location in Kansas City, MO. This role is essential to maintaining the comfortable and clean living environment that is paramount to our residents' wellbeing. As a Housekeeper, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of transforming each living space into a warm and inviting home. This position operates Sunday through Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm, with a starting wage of $16.75 per hour. The role requires close attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring every area – from resident rooms to communal spaces and employee break rooms – is impeccably maintained. Our ideal candidate has a positive and energetic attitude, is professional in appearance and conduct, and is physically capable of performing tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day. Job Requirements

Minimum age of 18 years
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade proficiency level
Positive and energetic attitude toward residents
Professional appearance and conduct
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart
Good physical health verified by a recent health screening including tuberculosis test
Must be criminally cleared

Job Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with a minimum proficiency of 8th grade

Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 25 pounds and maneuver housekeeping carts

Job Duties

Provide housekeeping services to residents to ensure comfortable and clean living areas
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all common areas including lobbies and employee break rooms
Ensure all housekeeping supplies and equipment are properly used and stored
Follow health and safety guidelines to promote a safe environment for residents and staff
Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
Assist with the setup and breakdown of rooms for activities or special events
Collaborate with team members to uphold the community’s standards and core values
