The Housekeeper role at Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is an essential position dedicated to maintaining a sanitary and safe environment for residents, clients, visitors, and staff. This full-time, non-exempt, union position offers a competitive hourly wage with additional shift differentials and weekend premiums, as well as up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Housekeepers work alternating weekends and holidays, performing cleaning duties using proper procedures, equipment, and cleaning chemicals to ensure the cleanliness of rooms and shared areas such as offices, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, closets, and stairways. This position requires no previous experience or specific training, making it accessible to individuals seeking entry into the healthcare or environmental services fields.
